I should have known better! I should have known better and this was not “handmade by Amish craftsmen”. As I furniture builder, I am embarrassed to have believed the marketing hype and got lazy and fell for this one. The panels are jointed sufficiently, but it has the look of machine-mass-production. When I started assembly, I found very cheap “twist to lock” assemblies (think Ikea) at the corners. These are made of the cheapest plastic and pot metal available. They were also improperly positioned. An easy attempt at “twisting” them onto their knobby partners, had the pot metal (if it is indeed metal at all!) stripped immediately making assembly impossible. They also failed to send the paid for pan which is supposed to act as the otherwise non-existent bottom.I will now take it to my shop and put it together properly with wood screws and plugs and fashion a real bottom for it.The design is rudimentary and amateurish. For example, instead of a flush gate, they rabbeted the gate edge for a stop…
