The Vestil FWD-2436-3R fiber wood dolly has a fiber wood frame, a rubber surface, two hand holes, and four swivel caster wheels, and can be used to transport appliances, crates, furniture, or other large, heavy objects. The dolly is made of fiber wood, which weighs less than typical solid hardwood and is resistant to chipping. A rubber surface helps prevent loads from slipping. A PVC (polyvinyl chloride) strip along the edge of the dolly helps protect walls from scrapes. Two hand holes allow the dolly to be lifted and carried. The caster wheels swivel for maneuverability, measure 3 inches in diameter, and are made of solid rubber, which can’t go flat and is resistant to wear. This dolly has a load capacity of 600 lb., weighs 21 lb., and measures 4-11/16 x 23-5/8 x 35-1/2 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) This product is intended for use in professional and industrial environments.

Dollies are used to transport any of a variety of large, heavy objects, such as cabinets, crates, drum containers, furniture, heavy machinery, large appliances, rolls of carpet, or totes. Dollies are typically comprised of a low platform or deck mounted to caster wheels that may swivel for maneuverability and may include brakes to keep the dolly from rolling. Some dollies have adjustable frames to transport loads of different sizes. Others come with a pull handle to help the user move the dolly. Dollies can be used by professional movers or in warehouses or other industrial environments.

Vestil manufactures materials handling equipment, including hoists and trolleys, jib and gantry cranes, loading dock equipment, and storage solutions. The company, founded in 1968, is headquartered in Angola, IN.

Works great – smells strong (rubber) Holds my heavy, full-sized computer tower like a charm. I would give it five stars but for the love of GOD this thing reeks of Rubber. Stinks up the entire room. I put Borax and baking soda and water and let it sit outside over night, rinsed it off, brought it back inside and it laughed at me with it’s stink still. Just one of those things you have to deal with I suppose. Maybe it will fade away or I will start loving the smell of rubber. Who knows. The product itself works great though.

Good dollies I ordered two. I put my washer and dryer on these- to get them just enough off the floor to get a mop under to clean and also I can easily roll them to clean the floor under them. I was worried that I might need locking casters, but there is no movement when the machines are washing and drying. There is a little bit of a rubber smell ( there is a nonskid rubber on top of these dollies), but not offensive at all.

How to move most heavy furniture by yourself or with a weak and feeble friend. Want to move a sofa by yourself? Use this. Or a dresser, or any of a dozen other heavy items that are inconvenient to use on a standard wheeled cart. In my case, I bought two of these to move out of my residence. I moved most things by myself, to a storage unit nearby. I moved things like a 10′ long table and heavy dressers and king-size beds with someone else using one dolly at each end. There are no awkward lifts once the object is placed on the dolly or dollies. The wheels change direction…
