OK, but has some flaws. but works. We got this to be able to keep dogs separated in the car while traveling. The bars are too far apart to keep a dog from poking their head through, but we knew that. The reason I gave it just 3 stars is because the locks to keep the bars from sliding up and down are useless. Even if the didn’t pop out on their own, I’d have used something to make sure a dog couldn’t move them. Cheap electrical ties locked them into place. Secure and silent! This barrier is amazing! I have two dogs (a lab and a border collie) who are used to having the run of the car, but with the birth of our daughter it is necessary to give them some boundaries. The barrier was very easy to assemble and install. The crossbars are adjustable not only width wise, but you can also move them closer together or further apart based on your needs. While driving around, I have not heard any rattling noises, and have no worries about the dogs pushing it out of place.
Pleased Puppy! I’ve had one of these before and this one was much easier to assemble … and actually fits faster and better. Fairly sturdy construction. However, the cheesy plastic tension locks that are designed to hold each horizontal barrier in place are not good enough. Our 3-month old Golden Retreiver, Roux B Doux, is just beside herself with wild puppy abandon and she was able to easily slide the barriers, even though they were latched.
