Wonderful design .. Agree with other reviews A solid piece of furniture. Not made of thin, flimsy wood. The lock on my model was a problem as other reviews mentioned. I simply added a second hinge lock near the top. Easy fix. It also is slightly raised off the floor which I wanted. I would not get one for a heavily coated dog as there is limited airflow, but for my thin coated breed the extra warmth is appreciated. I would order another one without hesitation.

Tasteful and comfortable home for your dog A solid piece of furniture I would have no hesitation placing this in a formal living room. It was a snap to follow the simple instructions to build, and it’s true no tools required. It’s clear from the pictures that this ‘den’ is cozy and made for calm and/or sleeping situations. I wouldn’t suggest this for a young puppy; however, because a chewer/digger would scratch the finish. It also isn’t my choice of kennel for feeding or daytime restriction because of the limited ventilation. I’d have…
